the roof is prob a one piece laminated structure where the panels are bonded to the styrofoam insulation. these have no roof trusses as the rigidity is made by the structure itself. Hard to repair back to factory look without complete roof replacement. You see this in a lot of class c rvs as well. sometimes you may see aluminum studs but they are really just like a rib cage and don't provide structural support. I would just carefully cut out the bad section with a circular saw and then glue in a new panel with foam bonded to it. Cover the repair with matching trim molding and it may look decent
