  • The Class 6-8 glider thing is coming to an end anyway. The Fed is drafting new rules that will limit that practice.
  • Never sold mine. '97, 7.3 with no emissions at all. Even has a road draft tube. No rust, everything works fine. Been offered 25 cash, I laugh.

Had to insure with Collectables Insurance thouugh for ACV because conventional insurance won't cover the loss anymore. It'w worth about 4 times book value.

5 more years and it gets Vintage Vehicle plates.

('97 Last year OBS with the forged con rod 7.3 is the most sought after truck ever built by any manufacturer) and I own one, since new.

Stickered for 32 with every option. It's a 4x4, crew cab long bed SRW with a Dana 60 in front (high portal) and a corporate 10.5 in the back, limited slip with an ARB air locker in the front spool. 89K original miles.

Not for sale at any price. Not short on power at all with a full Gale Banks kit. Dyno's at 383 RWHP, plenty for my needs. I'm not a hot rodder, I'm an old fart.
  • I would love to have a "new" Gen 2 Dodge with an in-lime Cummins and a fully mechanical injection pump... maybe even that same engine in a 70's Ford crew cab or High Boy.
  • Let me see- buy a new truck, put a less powerful, worse mileage and dirtier engine in it. Oh yeah, that makes sense. Love to stick my old 245 hp 460 in a new Super Duty.
