So I was coming home from work today and saw a nice big 5er in front of me. This thing was HUGE! Like really, really BIG!Anyway; the back end was bouncing up and down like a pogo stick. What the??? Weird to see that with a 5er.So I get up to it and see it has 3 BIG slides. I get up to the truck and try to figure out what brand of truck was towing it. The first thing I see was how low this truck was riding. Then I see how much bounce the rear is doing. Like a crazy Jack in the Box! Then I see the "Delani" emblem on it. Cool, a brethren truck owner! :B (well, I have a bow tie, but same smell)So I pull even with is and look to see the Allie emblems. None. Hmmmmm? Then I look for the Dmax emblems. None. Hmmmmm? Wow, must be a gas rig!As I get past it; it hits me! OMG that was a 1/2 ton Jimmy towing that 36 footer 5er!!!! :E This 5er was the size of Fishes 5er!I could not believe it! ! I'm still in shock that I saw what I saw!

Some folks' elevator doesn't go to the top floor.

Just goes to validate than any kind of vehicle can pull just about anything. The question still remains, "For how long?"

I see so many freaking idiots towing with way to little truck. But hey "it goes just fine"

With a 11,185 GVWR trailer you should be to the top of the mountain more often than most! You should get a trailer that gives your truck a better work out.

We don't have any mountains in my neck of the woods and the camper we selected is for family vacations and some hunting camps with very limited access and unlike you we won't be living in a fiberglass wrapper.... Have fun with that one.

RV dealers probably sell more trucks than new truck dealers. How many people, myself included, have bought an RV because the dealer said "yeah, your truck will pull it". So you do pull it, a few times, then go get the proper sized truck.

In the late 80s, I bought my first 5er and had a 1500 GMC. RV dealer said all I needed was air bags, trams cooler towing brake controller, and clip on towing mirrors. I bought it all (from him) and made one 60 mile round trip camping trip with it. That's when I bought my first diesel truck.
