I have a friend who's a dad and his son is a terrible brat. One night they were having a campfire in the back yard but, it was getting quite late and the kid was over tired. They told him not to play near the fire but, he wouldn't listen. Finally the dad says "Enough it enough" and carries the kid off to bed. The kid cried loudly on the trip to bed. (As I said he was over tired and you know who over tired kids can act). A little while later as everyone was retired into the house and cleaning up for the night his girlfriend says "Somebody is looking in through the windows". The dad goes outside to check it out and as it turns out it was the police. Someone had heard the kid crying and dialed 911. (Everyone is 911 happy these days you know) The man sticks his head back in the house and tells his girlfriend to watch his son because they are takeing him to jail for Domestic Assault. A hour later, after the girlfriend had gotten the kid to bed, the cops show up at the house wake him back up and make him strip so they can check him for bruises. A hour after that the dad comes home and says they decided to not press charges for Domestic Assault after all. So, it all worked out in the end but, this is why parents don't discipline there kids anymore. Who wants to spend 2 hours at the police station for putting there kid to bed??? One things for sure, no one puts that kid to bed anymore. He stays up as late as he wants.
