Oh my...the wonderful news is that they all will grow up into adults...meaning
for towing...more weight...and the GREAT thing is that if your
family becomes their social hub...buddies will want to join you all...
Knock is mostly protesting that the engine is working too hard for
the conditions and other attributes (not able to reject heat fast
enough, not high enough octane, etc)
Repeat, knocking while towing can ruin and engine very quickly and/or
leave damage that will show up a short time later
For a computer controlled engine to knock...says all of the adjustment
dials/knobs available to the computer is NOT enough to thwart that
issue...
By the time any dealer/mechanic checks out the vehicle...the situation
is gone....maybe the computer stored some codes, but the dealer
'should' have been able to check it for codes...
PS...am retired and consulting...so on my computer most of the day
when not volunteering...so check this site more often than most, I think...
