I upgraded today.

The DW and I bought a 30ft travel trailer. I had a 2010 GMC sierra that "could" pull it but I just wasnt comfortable do it, and the hills we have, really put a strain on the truck. Here is the old


So today I bought a Ram 2500 CTD. It has more room inside for us and the kids, has a better payload and will tow the camper a lot easier. New truck pic.

    Nice truck. I tow an 85-9000lb 5'er with my 12 CTD. You'll love the fact that you can run in 6th or 5th all day and not break a sweat.

    There are some pretty good "hills" in the Ozarks. Luckily I don't drive too much on the interstate and the other roads have third lane on the hills. Doing a 150 mile dry run, through the "hills" to visit family today.

    The only problem you will have now is wiping that ear to ear grin when towing. Great truck and you will enjoy it.

    Well, Mizzou is in the SEC now... They have SE hills by association.. :D

    I definetly will. I only towed the new TT with the GMC for about 20 miles. It did ok, but I worried about the up coming 340 miles through hills. Plus in order to get all my stuff, my wife was going to have to follow me with her Armada packed. Now there are no worries about the hills and over loading the truck.

    Awesome truck... Congrats & keep us in the loop on your impressions of it as you get to know it. I bet it tows your TT every bit as well (if not even better) than you think it will
