So after 3 years of camping in our Jayco 19BH we finally decided to upgrade so long trips 7-10 days would be more comfortable. The new rig is a Jayco 28BHS with a Maxistor compartment. Here is the old camper.Here is the new rig!! We are super pumped abut this camper!! It has so much more rrom inside and my wife and I are happy to have our own room up front and let the kids have the back bunk areaWe almost backed out on the deal when we went to pick it up. I was doing the the inspection before the sale and caught two things I wanted addressed well they hooked up to the camper and pulled it down to the service area and as it went by both my wife and I started to have second thoughts about the length...... My wife was like o my gosh it looked like a train just passed us!!! we were both flipping out and second guessing ourselves with how long it was!I started talking to the owners of the camper store about my concerns getting it up the driveway and turned around and whet he said was awesome!! He told me well we want you to be happy more than anything else so take it home with you and if the camper won't go up your drive bring it back tomorrow. He then gave me his cell phone number and said get out of here and call me if you run into trouble. Lucky for us it went right up the drive and we will go sign the paperwork tomorrow! That is what I call service!! I have now bought two campers from this company and would recommend them to anyone!! I was also extremely happy with how our truck pulled the camper and I can't even tell the difference between the 19BH and the 28BHS. I will post pics of the interior and maxistor compartment this weekend. Ohh I also have a quick question??? I have never hung a tv in a TT before so does anyone have some advice or recommendations on how to do it /what mounting hardware to use. We were thinking of a 28-30" tv in the front bedroom?

We also got the grill with the camper which I though was pretty cool.

Where are you going to put your BluRay player??

We have a spot in the corner, at the foot of the queen bed as well. But I have no where to put a bluray player. We already have one for the 26" main living area TV. Since I have a spare Bluray player and a spare 19" flat screen LCD, it would be nice to use them in the bedroom as well.

Here's our queen bedroom TV spot.

Here's our living room/dinette 26" TV and Bluray shelf. I bought a new bluray player that's not as wide, to fit better in the shelf since the TV is partially in the way of it. 19BH had a wider DVD/Bluray shelf but less storage cabinets.

Did the same thing. We traded our 2008 19BH in Sept. 2012 for a 2012 26BH. We looked at the 28BHS, if fact it looked identical to yours, same vinyl brown fabric. We just liked the 26BH layout better since we really liked the 19BH which was the same but without the front bedroom.

We traded to the 26BH because our 2008 19BH got hail damaged and the insurance check was really nice. ;D

I do go back and forth thinking about the 28BHS but for us, the 26BH just works better. The large kitchen of the 28BHS is certainly a major plus. I honestly don't think I would had been unhappy with either floorplan as each has their pluses and minuses, and they were by far my favorites over everything else that didn't require a heavy duty 3/4 ton truck with a hitch rated for 1500 lbs. tongue weight.

Very nice!

We didn't get the max door, power awning, or ladder but did get the technology package with the DVD player and 26" TV. I would had liked the thermal package but what was needed the most, it didn't have, double pane windows. We camped in the winter before and just used the campgrounds bathhouse. I have even thought about buying a small dehumidifier to combat the condensation on the windows.

Enjoy that very nice trailer!

yeah I think that half of buying a camper is the dealer and how good they are. If you get a bad dealer the warranty probably doesn't mean much. I have dealt with my dealer for a few years now but even I was surprised at the offer to take the camper home!

Congratulations on your new Jayco. Your dealer sounds fantastic, I wish we had a good Jayco dealer when we bought ours because we just traded our Jayflight in on a Keystone due to Jayco dealer problems.

Congratulations ..... great choice by staying with the Jayco brand. I went from a Jayco 20BH to a Jayco Eagle 256RKS. What a big difference with so much extra room.
