I want to improve on the factory setup, that is not as good as it was new. When I fix something, I always try to improve on it.
Lights are there so I can use them to see better. Better light = better vision.
As for the whys... Well, in AZ and NM rattle snakes move at night. I would like to see them before stepping on one. I also like to BBQ at night under the light. Better lighting means better cooking.
I have also skinned out deer and elk at night in camp. Better light makes it easier.
As for campfires, I rarely have time for one. And I would never make one close to the TT anyway.
I am not the least bit concerned about "neighbors" They are a pain in the city, and if I can see one from camp,,, they are too close.
