I upgraded every light fixture in the RV to LED with conversion kits from Rigid Industries. I used this 6-LED kit for the scare light. It's brighter then the factory bulb, but my objective was to reduce power consumption while boondocking, not to increase light output.
Careful when shopping LEDs and try to go by lumens, wattage can be misleading and doesn't always give you the whole story about brightness. A couple of the guys over on Tech Issues periodically find a Chinese eBay seller using some new math in terms of wattage.
In terms of the yellowing lens, you may need to replace it. If it's like mine it would be very difficult to clean. I have used the McGuire's headlight restorer kit on my skylights with good success but not sure how it would work on the plastic in that lens. You can replace the whole fixture for $10.50 from eTrailer.
If you are looking to supplement that scare light with an LED spotlight, check out what they have at Rigid Industries.
On a side note, this forum is getting to be too much....half of the posts on the first page are opinions about why you shouldn't have a brighter scare light, why you shouldn't use your scare light, and how the OP has no respect for his CG neighbors. Huntindog, have you ever been to a CG?? Same with outdoor speakers, flashing running lights, etc. Not everybody camps the same way, let's try to help answer the questions in these threads instead of judging the OP for asking the question. Putting soap box away now.
