A scare light is intended for situations where you need to light up the area around your TT for either an emergency ar to see what is going bump in the night. It is not for general lighting purposes - don't you boneheads realize that?
I'm curious. Why can't it be used for general lighting purposes? Will the use of the light damage the electrical system? Will the unit explode after x amount of hours of use? It is essentially a really bright light outside of the trailer. Yes, those are probably the most common uses for the light, however I don't see why you're limited to those situations. If I had to dress an elk at night, I'd definitely use the scare light and any other I could get my hands on. Sharps and dim lighting don't go together very well. Not everyone camps in campgrounds where you're stacked on top of each other.
