Aluminum bodies aren't all they are all they are cracked up to be. Aluminum has been used for years on car bodies. Maybe it won't rust orange but it carodes just as easy and easier in some cases. Plenty of pant problems will still exist and it's more expensive to repair. Ford is doing it for fuel milage purposes not for the longevity of the body. But it is a good marketing scheme because the general public thinks aluminum = no body problems
