Hi, my last 2 Ford diesels were manual transmissions and I really liked them. When we were looking around for a Ram we got really lucky and stumbled across this truck which was a fully loaded Laramie Megacab dually with the G56. As soon as I drove it I fell in love; the G56 is really easy to drive with the no throttle launch feature and is very smooth to shift.
Yes, my truck takes DEF but I really don't anticipate it to be much of an issue. The DEF tank was not full when I picked up the truck and at 1000 miles it still has 3/4 tank so it certainly does not seem to use much.
Yes I'm sure you would be very surprised if you drove one of the new ones! I went looking and, well, you see what happened to me!
