improving TV reception?
I have a mushroom type tv antenna on the top of my 8.6 and I am looking for options for improving reception. Anyone have success improving their over the air tv reception and if so, what did you do? ...

I have spec'd, installed, fixed, and trashed way more of those antennas than anyone here has likely ever seen on this thread. All installed on news trucks and used daily in a variety of places in cities across the country. They don't work in the burbs and they don't work in the city due to multi path issues. The ONLY reason one might have is an attempt to watch while in the road, and even then there is enough multi path that it black 50% of the time. About the only place they have is in open water in sight of the city (or transmitter site).
