One big factor is wheelbase. If you buy an F150 with 8' bed instead of the more common short bed models you will minimize sway.
I tow a 7500# 28' TT with a long bed F350 Dually. Never have felt the need for either a WDH or sway control.
Just another thought - if you are in the throws of upgrading TTs you might want to opt for an F250 now instead of later :)
