...a 1500 Silverado will certainly do it. The 5.7L or 6.2L engines will have plenty of HP and torq and make towing pleasant.
5.7 hasn't been around in 15+ years in a new truck. 5.3L is the current V8 "standard" engine in 1500s. 6.2L is an option.

I'd vote for an F150, Silverado 1500.
A Tacoma isn't going to be a significant enough upgrade over the Jeep to justify the expense, in my opinion.
I saw a Jeep JKU towing a similar trailer yesterday in Washington, on I-90 I think.
