Indoor/outdoor thermometer
Can you recommend a good digital thermometer that will let me know the inside and outside temps? Hopefully one that has a wireless outside meter? Thanks!

Wal Mart has several. I prefer the wired outdoor sensor, as you do not need a second battery that is transmitting, and the indoor unit does not need to run a radio receiver all the time too. .
Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, all have wired and wireless indoor outdoor thermometers. Some have humidity too, also very handy to know. . .
I can slip my outdoor sensor through the space where the windows slide together, and it stays on all the time, even while driving. I used to have a wireless one, and would hang it from the outdoor bracket that I also could hang my gas lantern, but many times would forget it there when I drove off (it hung on good in 65 MPH winds on the freeway). .
Currently I have a wired outdoor sensor in my bedroom. There is a space below the nightstand for air to return to the living area from the basement (to allow heat in there) and down to the basement door, outside, and secured to the framework there. However it will read 120+ when driving, I am guessing the engine radiator heat? So it is most accurate after being parked for 30 minutes.
