Turtle...guessing you've got way stronger hand/arms than I do...nitrogen filled is
what am assuming the OP has and they are very hard for me to re-compress
Normally, line everything up and have the bottom bolt ready to stuff into the bracket
hole as the shock extends...
Miss often and that is where my windsurfing gear comes in handy
Tie the top over a bracket/frame and lower end to the shock barrel end but not
in the eye/hole, as the bolt has to go in (been there done that with the rope
in the way...)
Then lower it by playing out rope to the block and tackle of my down haul setup
Monroe's, so maybe can be done with bare hands...but the stuff I've installed
took my whole body weight to compress when the shock is out of the vehicle that
first time I missed...
