I've never had a claim, but that's why I have Progressive for all my vehicles and travel trailer. My independent insurance company said that Progressive was one of the best in terms of no hassle and good coverage. You are right in that Progressive will replace the RV with a new one if totaled. Now that my RV is 5 years old, I'm probably still not covered by that "full replacement" clause. Since our tow rig and RV are both covered by Progressive, I am double covered on some aspects. Either way, if something were to happen out on the road, having the same insurance company on both rigs would eliminate finger pointing.
