Say what? Your DP is loud? That don't make sense as the engine is about 30' behind you. We don't hear much engine noise whatsoever, in fact I can't hear the engine brake anything like our previous Ram 3500 with the same Jacobs exhaust brake with the 5.9L.
Could it be your front mounted Onan Generator making the noise? I know our screen door makes a lot of racket that I need to fix. Best advice I can give is the walkie talkie route for a cheap fix. Most have belt loop connectors and a ear plug. In the mean time, watch for finger to know you passed the correct off ramp :W
