2009 F150 5.4 here. 103k miles. Tuned with a 87 octane tow/performance tune from 5star. The modular 5.4 got new heads at the end of 2007 that got rid of the two piece plug and the same 3valve engine was used until 2014 in the expedition. Many, many of them run like a top for well past 100k miles. Maintenance is the key.
