I had a 1999 5.4L that I sold to my father in law which he sold with 140k miles. I replaced the 99 with a 2003 5.4L that I sold to my brother. He had a 1997 5.4L that was was so abused that he scrapped it at 180k miles, but the engine still ran. He still has my 2003 with about 140k miles still going strong.
