I haven't purchased a Chevy truck since '92.
So you have no experience with newer GM or Dodges!
What are you going to say if you experience a "Ricatic" fuel system failure. Are you going to assume the blame for putting bad diesel in it when you know you did not?
Chris
Shouldn't your first question go to others here on this site including yourself! :R
I also get first hand intel from my cousin who now wrenches on mainly RAM cummins trucks for the most part. He was the one who hooked me up with a 05 RAM cummins truck that was fairly clean and low miles that came in as a trade in back in '12.
If I have a fuel system failure that was caused by contaminated fuel I'll simply go to the insurance company and let them go after the fuel supplier. It's a fairly easy diagnosis to determine fuel contamination. Link When I pump diesel I have no idea if it's good or bad, but to date ~ 9 years/210k miles combined from 2 trucks I've yet to knowingly get a load of bad diesel.
Since you are such an "Expert" on the 6.7 Cummins, tell us how many miles you have driven one to know so much about them? You know, actual behind the wheel driving time, like you just posted about your two Fords. It must be from your personal experience and many miles of driving, that allows you to post so much negative about them. I'm a member of FTE also, so I see plenty of issues there and other forums about the 6.7 Ford, but you never seem to post any of that here. Search the internet about any brand as much as you do, and you'll find as many problems as you want to find.
