I was on the fence too when we bought ours. I opted to stay with the 30amp. With the AC on I have to run the HWH on gas or I'll pop a breaker with the microwave or hair dryer. But that's a 15K AC, two frig's, 3 TV's etc, etc.
No issues with our old camper that had a 13.5K AC.
If I was shopping for a large 5th wheel, I'd have two AC's on a 50.
