Jul 18, 2014We've had both, 50 amp in our coach and 30 amp in our trailer. The only advantage to 50 amp is being able to run the two thermopumps at the same time; otherwise we never noticed a difference in our day to day electrical capabilities. We live on our rv 6 months a year and rarely blow a breaker on 30 amps; biggest risk in always the wife's hair dryer when we have a heater on! :E
