Is a dually too wide for a 7 ft camper?

When I was using my Lance TC it had swingaway jacks on the front so that you could use it on a dually. With both of them in the outward position it allowed the dually fenders to go by without hitting. You might want to check into something like that. If it needed to be wider you would just use a wider plate. When traveling it folded back next to the TC. Might want to take some measurements to be sure that it will fit. JMO
