does the family know about Navy showers? also, most RV showers have a shutoff valve to help with Navy showers. highly recommend installing an Oxygenics shower handheld. has a built-in valve that slows it down to a trickle but some install a separate shutoff valve.
using Navy shower techniques, your water will go a lot farther.
"Knowing" and "embracing" and two separate things :B
We do have the shower handles with the shutoff valves but its still 6G for DW and 3G each for me and DD, which means 12G for showers + 3 for cooking cleaning (lots of bottles and sippy cups) = 15G on shower days.
Trust me, I've been trying to cut this down but DW loves her showers (its a luxury that makes camping much more fun for her) and DD is now at the age where she wants to explore every dirty, muddy, icky thing she can find in the campsite (funny cuz she's such a little princess at home), so she's filthy at the end of the day.
But as long as I have options to load and unload more FW/GW then I will manage.
I will probably take CJS' advice and pickup a rolling tote and retire the Aqautainers.
I'll wait till after I get the HTT as I'll probably want to figure out an under the trailer mount for the tote for traveling.
I think next steps for us is to:
1. Research floorplans
2. Run the weights against our current TV
3. Before making a purchase, I'm going to rent an 18-20' TT (no HTTs available for local rental) and go camping locally. That will give me a perspective on towing a bigger rig with my TV, and it will give the family more exposure to HTT-like camping.
