My GW / FW solution runs like this:
For FW I bought a new 15-gallon plastic drum. It lays on its side in a cradle made from an inverted cut-down shipping pallet. It has a 3/4" ball valve and garden hose end on the bottom outlet, and a 3/4" pipe plug (finger tight) for a vent at the top. Fill from a cg faucet, then gravity feed into the FW tank using a white FW hose. I also have a 6-gallon plastic Aquatainer I keep filled for an "emergency" refill.
GW uses a 30-gallon surplus ($10) plastic drum in a similar arrangement. I have a 3" sewer cap w/ garden nipple on the trailer, a 12V marine pump, and some repurposed garden hose. Pump the drum from the trailer gray tank, go to the dump site, and gravity empty it. We make sure to wipe the dishes & pots so no big chunks go into the gray tank. Haven't plugged the pump yet....
I had these in the back of my Envoy but they're now in the pickup bed. I have some pictures but I don't have them on Photobucket.
DW & I could go a week on a 30-gallon black tank, and longer if we made an effort to use the cg toilets.
Some of our favorite cg's are "dry" State ones. The first mods to the new TT were LED lighting, dual batteries, and an upgraded converter for better charging off the generator. DW's to the point where she doesn't mind dry camping now.
