Thanks to everyone for all the great insights.
You've helped to alleviate some of our concerns and given great ideas about features to consider. We appreciate it!
At this point we feel pretty good about moving forward and are starting to look at floor plans.
So far we have tentatively agreed upon an HTT with:
At least two fold-out beds
At lease one slide-out
Tandem axle
Manual awning/manual stabs
Must be operational when turtled (access to refer, potty, and some beds)
Prefer ducted A/C and heat (or, so we think)
Prefer to have bunk end material pre-attached to bed doors (less setup)
Probably in the 19-23' range
I can't seem to find any RV shows in SoCal coming up soon so we may have to drive around a bunch of dealers to actually see some units. HTTs just don't seem very popular with the dealers in the San Diego area.
Not sure if we'll trade in our Niagara or sell it outright. That may depend on the local vs. out-of-state pricing on the new HTT.
We're not against a long trip to the midwest to save a few thousand $$ (as others have done).
We'll keep ya'll updated as we move forward.
Thanks again!
