I also have a similar trailer that I am pulling with my half ton 5.3 liter vortec 4 speed tranny and it pulls it okay especially through the mountains of the upper pennisula of Michigan. It is amazing how fast things can add up in how much gear you actually pack in your Travel Trailer.
