I had a 2008 Tundra Limited with 5.7 and tow package until recently. We pulled a similar trailer through the Ozarks with no problem. We had a WD hitch and LT tires. About halfway through the trip we lost the sway bar. Didn't notice any difference. I would go with the Tundra. I suspect that you will become attached to it and keep it after you return. The only reason I sold mine was that I couldn't tow a big 5er and we are going full time. Enjoy your trip
