I have a 2011 Tundra 5.7 4WD, and it handles my 8000 lb "wet" TT like it isn't even back there (except the horrid 8 MPG at 70 MPH). For a few trips, we put the 1500 lb golf cart in the bed of the truck, and still it handles it with ease. Of course I don't drive 70 MPH with the golf cart in the truck.
So, I think you will be thrilled with how the Tundra handles that trailer.
