It's a shame that they had problems with the roofs on these because, otherwise Fleetwood made a good camper. That being said, I've seen some that look like heck and some that look fine. Did this one spend most of its time parked inside? That may be one way to keep them nice. We had a 99 Coleman Cheyenne that we bought new and the roof on it was in good shape when we traded it in 2003. Check it over good, make sure there's no soft spots in the floor or wood. If it looks good and the price is right, go for it, I'd say. I really wanted to get another Coleman this year when we switched back to a PUP but the ones I looked at were too rough for my tastes and they were 2004-2005 models. On one, the ABS roof was just full of tiny cracks and also had some other water damage inside. Make sure you check all around the slide-out, too. A slide-out presents more seams to possibly leak.
