I had a 2000 Santa Fe, which we used for 7 years and then traded in. We never had any roof problems, but it was a 10 ft box, and without an AC. Yours is larger and has more on the roof.
When I got the santa fe, I joined an online community. Many people were complaining about it, and they were definitely still having problems in the 2000 model year. My next pup was a 2004 highwall, and it had a different roof, so somewhere between 2000-2003 they gave up on the ABS.
I am a big fan on Coleman/Fleetwood pups, and when we went to replace the 2004, we were unimpressed by any other brands (so we ended up with a trailmanor. We mourn the passing of the brand, and are discouraged by Somerset's ability to get the new ones to market.
That said, I would not risk buying that model, unless the price is very good.
