IN most cases you DO have to stop at Agricultural Inspection stations.
You have to stop at any Border Patrol Stations, including those inland.
You don't get a choice with the Agricultural and Border Patrol as every one is routed through them, but with weigh stations no so. I stopped at the one in CO East bound I-70 one time when I was a rockie because the way the sign read. I don't remember the exact wording but it went something like this 'all towed vehicles must stop'. I was greeted with 'can I help you' and then he said that sign didn't pertain to RV's
