Analyzer center freq set at 500MHz with a 500MHz Span. The ENTIRE noise floor comes up 30db+... I can easily see it sitting on the curb in the street.. My fix was a trip to ALL Electronics and bought 3 chokes for each lamp: AC in, regulator out, LED in. It made a HUGE difference. It just irritates the He|| out of me that I should have to do their work for them, and worse, they are selling these by the thousands to unsuspecting folks.
Yeah, raising the whole noise floor 30 db would be unacceptable to anyone. Aren't the lamps UL listed? Do they have a FCC Class rating like a power supply or transformer?
