You mean OSB board not particle chip board I hope. - HannibalExplorerI've wondered why Airstream uses particle board floors.
- hvacExplorerNothing is perfect, but I submit the industry needs to be challenged. This forum is heavily represented with poor quality issues. Motor home, trailer, toy hauler, its a common complaint.
Wood usually is the core issue. I rest my case. If it was the best material why is it not being used in cars, trucks, airplanes, school buses etc?
Just sayin... - HannibalExplorer

I wouldn't call airstream high end.. just because they are high dollar doesn't make them high end in my opinion. there are many other things to consider. airstream reminds me of harley's.. overpriced old technology that survives on "tradition" rather than technical prowess.
Don't agree there. I bought my fourth Harley, a '92 Fatboy new for $9600. At 25 years old, I just upgraded the carb to an S&S, replaced the battery, clutch cable and changed the fluids. Still waiting for those notorious troubles to begin. It's very simple "old technology" is it's best feature.
I had a heritage softail then a roadking. both shared the same traits as an airstream.. overweight and overpriced. ooh.. but nice and shiny
:B:B:B:B
So you willingly bought two motorcycles that you believe to be old technology, overweight and overpriced? Por que? Mine is no longer shiny. Except for the new S&S carb. :B
yes, I will admit to making three mistakes in the last 30 yrs..
one ex wife and two motorcycles.. LOL
Well, at least two guys got nice motorcycles! - OldSmokeyExplorer

If I am going to pay thousands for a toy hauler, I want nice wood cabinets and a floor that is not aluminum......but that's just me. I know there are those that dig the all aluminum thing.
