Shasta, you say you're thinking of "letting it go". Does that mean you'd sell the finished trailer? Can you get back $12K, possibly? Can you get more, possibly? It will take the right buyer.
I restored all of mine and knew I could never get out of it what I put in for materials and labor. I will profit from using it(without a payment). Another good thing is that I know about every pipe joint, electrical connection, all the screws and nails. If I need to repair anything, it's not a mystery. Hopefully, since it was "handmade" I won't have most of the typical troubles with a new TT. At least I know who to blame.:B
