Some early AF campers had delamination issues. My 1140 had the problem on the front Cap.
I had a Lance 981, similar in size and weight to a 990 and it worked great on my DRW.
You could probably make it work on a SRW but if you don't have the truck I highly recommend the dually. It will be at least 4500 lbs wet.
It seems the used TC market is slow right now. There are a lot of campers on Craig's List and RV Trader that aren't selling and some pretty good prices.
In the $12-18k range you can get an 05-08 Lance 9' to 11' camper and I assume the same if you prefer Arctic Fox.
