LOL you have never driven a Army 5 ton have you. I guarantee I would be on your bumper all the way up and down Snoqualmie with you pulling your load and me pulling mine. A convoys speed has no relation to the trucks capabilities.
AS for the NPR Izuzu trucks Wiki lists them sold by Chevy as "simply the Chevrolet 3500, 4500, or 5500" with 8.4 liter Diesel engine available. Again, it sounds like some versions of the Isuzu will eat your truck for lunch when it comes to pulling. You would then be the slow poke on the hill.

Do you know what that 8.4 puts out at it's highest power rating? A whopping .............wait for it..........wait for it..........270 HP. My 6.5 puts out more than that engines lowest power rating!
That's back in the 12 Cummins era. :R
