Isuzu crew cab
Oh just throwing this out there. anyone ever considered towing a fifth wheel with an Isuzu chassis? they are everywhere but the never seem to be in the shop. the horsepower and torque numbers aren'...

Those army convoys around here can't seem to pull a hill without leaving one or 2 behind....while the rest of the convoy does about 35mph!

LOL you have never driven a Army 5 ton have you. I guarantee I would be on your bumper all the way up and down Snoqualmie with you pulling your load and me pulling mine. A convoys speed has no relation to the trucks capabilities.
AS for the NPR Izuzu trucks Wiki lists them sold by Chevy as "simply the Chevrolet 3500, 4500, or 5500" with 8.4 liter Diesel engine available. Again, it sounds like some versions of the Isuzu will eat your truck for lunch when it comes to pulling. You would then be the slow poke on the hill.
