Based on the last post by MORSNOW it appears a realistic weight for the WC840 might be 3150 lbs, which would be 300-400 over my max payload. I will weigh the truck today and find out the actual rear weight, but I think I will be under all axle, tire and GVWR limits easily -- it is the reduced max payload due to all the options installed (diesel, auto tranny, rear seat floor, etc.) that really limits the payload rating. All that stuff adds up to well over 800 lbs.
My posted loaded camper weight (10,400 lbs) includes full fuel tank, water, propane, dual 6V batteries, my wife and I, and all of our food and gear for the weekend, on the scale. The truck only weight was also with full fuel tank, my wife and I, and all the normal gear in the truck (7220 lbs), so the 3,180 lb camper weight is very accurate for our camper loaded. It's a little heavier than I was assuming, but it's manageable.
