I sold my 2014 2500 CTD and bought a 2017 3500 CTD (new from dealer, great deal).
3500 ride, is harsher, I do agree. However, if you drop the air pressure from 75(ish) to 50(ish), when not towing or loaded, it rides a lot smoother. That per my wife who rode in back seat of both. Aired down the 3500 is a lot closer to the coil spring ride of the 2500.
