let me guess Chrysler had been planning the recall for 7 years and it was just coincidence they happened to wait 3 months after GM announced a recall and there was rumors of a manufacturer coverup.

Well did you read the link "Chrysler Group LLC said on Tuesday it is recalling 792,300 older-model Jeep SUVs for ignition switch problems, the second recall of its kind for the No. 3 U.S. automaker this year." Now if you can provide anything that says they had prior knowledge and did nothing then post it up Mr. smoke. But Fiat has owned us for just three years, so what the previous owners knew or didn't know is the question.
