how do you think GM made money all these years? eliminate cabin air filters, footwell lights, underhood lights, thinner sheet metal and so on and so on.
these companies think no one pays attention to their money making schemes to nickel and dime consumers to death but most are pissed about all the stuff that gets cut out for a nickel's worth of savings.
