Tough call while a 6.4 Ram 3500 might work, I have read post here that the jump from 1st to 2nd is pretty big. We chose to replace our 2001 Ram 2500 5.9 CTD with a 2016 Ram 3500 DRW 6.7Aisin, it is our only vehicle as we full time works for us.
