jacking up tt

first off thanks for all the info on buying tires. got 4 carlisels coming.
What is the best way to change all 4? Jack up one side at a time using jacks and jack stands or doing both front first and then the rears??
Or any other ideas?
thanks again!!!

Never jack using the axle on a trailer. The tubing is thin unlike the cast ones on a car or truck.

I use a bottle jack with a piece of 2x4 on top under the frame next to a spring shackle for one tire. If both tires I do the same as for one then place a jack stands and move the bottle jack next to the other spring shackle.

I never place the jack under the pivoting link for the springs between the tires.
  • be careful you don't twist the frame. do one side then the other
  • I made apt with Discount Tires for 30 min before they opened and had me back the TT near the work area and had 4 workers come in early and had me out with all 4 tires mounted, balanced etc before 8AM
