CNBC reported on Ford's executive conference call with investors and media. They (Ford) attributed sluggish sales to the recent bad weather in the Midwest and Northeast for slowing traffic into dealer showrooms.

In the top 5 trucks listed only one sales increase from last year! Ram jumped 22% and is getting close to the #2 spot.
Waiting for the break down by type/size 1500/2500/3500.
So you are celebrating the decline of 4 brands..... Pathetic.
Your the one that is "Pathetic". No one is "celebrating" the loss of sales of Ford and the GM twins. But whatever makes you happy sport.

They arrested the scum bag that owed the apartment building last Friday and arraigned him today. The Judge set his bail at 5 mill 2 for each Fire fighter and .5 for the arson charge.

Don - fla-gypsyExplorerFords drop was miniscule. Chevy and GM took a beating. Congrats to Ram. I am pulling for you guys to take the #2 spot. This report is nothing but a reflection of the overall auto market which was also down.

Using your numbers, overall sales of the Big 3 dropped 4k from 2013 to 2014. Ram sales increased 4.6k from 2013 to 2014. Since overall sales decreased, then Ram's sale increase had to come at the expense of Ford and/or GM. To me it kinda looks like GM got the short end of Ram's increase.
Total sales for Jan 2013 for GM twins, Ford, Ram: 115,606
Total sales for Jan 2014 for GM twins, Ford, Ram: 111,651
No question that Ram is deservedly hot but overall full-size PU sales changed very little.
Would've liked to have seen an uptick in overall sales rather than a slight dip.
Having said that, without knowing for sure, I bet this and last January's numbers beat the pants off of what was seen in 2009/2010/2011. - hone_eagleExplorerHoney
