- LessmoreExplorer III like them all...except that Renegade.
However the retro Chief looks wonderful. It has the styling cues of the original Jeep Cherokee, which later was known as the Wagoneer. I'm not up on my Jeep history, so feel free to correct me. :B
Takes me back. I remember a local church janitor having one when they first came out in the early '60's He had the OHC inline six, 3 on the tree. The last one I saw regularly, belonged to a neighbour. It had the 'wood' sides, with AT and the old AMC 360 V8. It was driven, till the body almost rusted off it's frame.
These Jeep 'Suburban class' trucks were phenomenal in their day and must of been produced for close to 30 years.
Wonder if there would be a sustainable demand for a retro look Cherokee...Chief nowadays ?
I know other retros like the last T-Bird bit the dust ...but the VW retro Beetle still seems to sell.
As an aside, I was surprised the last Ford T-Bird didn't sell. I thought Ford did a great styling job on this retro mobile. - Fast_MoparExplorerLooks great to me.
