FJ = Fake Jeep
I really like the look of the "Chief", but you must realize that underneath the cosmetics, it is a JK unlimited. So, 3500 lbs. towing.
FJ that is funny. A few years ago a buddy of mine was down at Safari and was griping up a storm that this little bone stock base line FJ went every where he did and with ease. HE had a picture of it and it was baseline and bone stock right down to the tires. - TargaExplorerThat is pretty cool!! The color even works on it.
- BenKExplorerReminds me of the 70's Wagoneer...almost bought one, but bought my 1970 FJ40 instead
Liked my FJ40 better than the gang's CJ5's, albeit slightly bigger than a CJ5 - kw_00ExplorerYou are correct 2016 will be the last FJ40 rolling off the lines. As for being fake, well too each his own. My dads got the FJ this year and loves it. We have had scouts, jeeps, u name it. Its pretty rugged and offers a lot of 4x4 goodies. When he was looking we looked at some of the jeeps and were not impressed. The FJ performed well and holds a high resale value. If Chrysler would build the concept above it should be a hit.

Meh. Reminds me too much of my brother in law's old Cherokee Chief... the one that couldn't go over 45 mph without the transmission throwing a hissy fit. To this day he won't own another Jeep.
Really, I like a lot of the retro looking vehicles. But not this one.
You reminded me of my old friends International Scout.- LessmoreExplorer II
