Jeep Gr Cherokee Diesel - Worth the $? Reliable?, Could tow?

I towed a 31 ft outback TT 7000 lb loaded with a 04 toyota 4 runner v8, rated to tow 7000 lbs, travelled thru a lot of mountains in B.c , too much trailer for the SUV,towed it two years without issues,but had to be on top of it all the time,not a real relaxing experience.Bought a 06 3500 Ram that just played with it. I think a 25 ft TT would be a better match for the Jeep.
