jensen dvd quit loading...disc error

We have a keystone Laredo with the Jensen system. We watched a movie the first night we got it, but now (just a few weeks later, it will not read/load the dvds. We have tried:
* new dvds
* old dvds
* cleaning dvds
* pushing the reset button

any ideas? right now, we have hooked a home dvd player to the tv, but would really like to use the "system" one.

Thanks for any help!

    Use the small cans of compressed air for cleaning computers. The heads can get dust on them and then they don't read the disc. Open the door without a disc in and spray them or it well. If that doesn't do it I have opened them up and used a Q tip with rubbing alcohol to clean the pickup head. Always fixes mine that is in my shop.

    Yep! Dust and junk gets on the laser and causes problems. Just make sure you let everything settle and dry before operating it. If you can, try to start at one end and get dust to blow out the slot.

    Good luck!

    Rip it out.

    Stomp on it.

    Drive over top it a couple of times.

    Then locate the biggest sledge hammer and beat it into the ground.

    Then take the dust pan and broom and unceremoniously throw the remainders into the nearest trash receptacle. :B

    Then get yourself a CAR (AUTOMOBILE) stereo with DVD player and never ever look back at that worthless piece of scrap.
  • It does everything but read the disc. It takes it in, tries reading it and it allows us to eject it. It worked once, but all of a sudden now it does not...
  • Won't eject, insert the discs, or says "Loading..." but doesn't read disc?
